At 7:00 a.m. on April 11, the SKYRUN 2026 Fourth Xiahuayuan Super Trail Race of the Beijing–Zhangjiakou Sports, Culture, and Tourism Belt kicked off at the Xiahuayuan District Stadium in Zhangjiakou City. More than 2,600 trail-running enthusiasts from across the country gathered to push their limits amidst the mountains, immersing themselves in Xiahuayuan’s ecological charm and rich cultural heritage. As the event’s centerpiece, the Super Trail Race featured four categories—Jinxiu Cheng (100 km), Xingyun Zong (50 km), Huajian Zhu (30 km), and Muchunhui (10 km)—catering to participants ranging from professional elites to seasoned aficionados and novice runners. On the first day of competition, the 100 km and 50 km races got underway.
