Champion! The Skyler Ladybug Team Shines at the Xiahuayuan Super Off-Road Race

At 7:00 a.m. on April 11, the SKYRUN 2026 Fourth Xiahuayuan Super Trail Race—the centerpiece of the Beijing–Zhangjiakou Sports, Culture, and Tourism Belt—kicked off at the Xiahuayuan District Stadium in Zhangjiakou City. More than 2,600 trail-running enthusiasts from across China gathered to push their limits amidst the mountains, immersing themselves in Xiahuayuan’s ecological charm and rich cultural heritage. As the event’s highlight, the Super Trail Race featured four categories: the Jinxiu Cheng 100km, the Xingyun Zong 50km, the Huajian Zhu 30km, and the Muchunhui 10km, catering to participants ranging from professional elites to seasoned aficionados and novice runners. On the first day of competition, the 100km and 50km races got underway. The SKYRUN Trail Running Ladybug Team delivered an impressive performance: Gu Xinyu claimed victory in the 100km category with an outstanding time of 11:49:11; Peng Gang finished fourth in 13:08:17; Li Changguo placed fifth in 13:10:26; and Yang Fuqin took sixth in 13:17:30. Meanwhile, in the 50km division, SKYRUN Trail Running athletes such as Ma Ziqiang and Wu Huanchen also secured spots within the top ten.
