“The 2024 Karamay Marathon has also introduced a Business School Race‑Within‑a‑Race, upholding the philosophy of ‘building friendships through running and supporting business through sport.’ On one hand, it provides a platform for business school entrepreneurs and top-tier business professionals to strengthen their health, enjoy leisure travel, realize personal fulfillment, and showcase their teams’ spirit. On the other hand, this competition serves as a networking hub, fostering in-depth exchanges between the Karamay government and entrepreneurs from business schools across the country, sparking collaboration in business investment and corporate alliances, and contributing to regional economic development.”

In addition, to meet the expectations of runners and boost the enthusiasm of both domestic and international participants, the 2024 Karamay Marathon has specially allocated prize money and gifts totaling nearly RMB 300,000. The top thirty finishers in both the marathon and half‑marathon events will receive cash awards corresponding to their rankings. Specifically, the first-place finisher in the marathon will receive a RMB 6,000 cash prize and RMB 8,000 worth of prizes; second place will earn RMB 5,000 in cash and RMB 6,000 in prizes; and third place will receive RMB 4,000 in cash and RMB 4,000 in prizes.
