Skyler × “Jackie Chan Film A-Plan”: The fusion of outdoor activities and culture & art holds great promise.
Recently, the seventh installment of Jackie Chan’s Film A Program concluded successfully in Wuhan. Initiated by Mr. Jackie Chan, the program aims to advance the development of Chinese-language cinema and nurture the growth of young directors, cultivating a new generation of talent for genre filmmaking in the Chinese-speaking world. Since its launch, the Film A Program has held seven sessions, supporting nearly a thousand emerging film professionals and reaching over ten thousand individuals across the industry. Skyler, as the 2024年度 Jackie Chan’s Film Project A, Episode 7 As an official partner, we have accompanied the A Project’s professional mentors with high‑quality, functional apparel, jointly witnessing the innovative growth of young film talent.
Break the rules, explore the unknown.
At the seventh installment of Jackie Chan’s “Project A” event, a host of young filmmakers gathered to experience an unprecedented creative feast. The program features several highly practical, professional tracks—including masterclasses, a film‑pitching forum, and hands‑on shooting workshops—offering comprehensive guidance on filmmaking and providing all‑round support, from expert training to project execution.

“Break the rules, explore the unknown”—this installment of the “Jackie Chan Film A‑Plan” has sparked fresh creative inspiration among young filmmakers, a philosophy that Skyland has wholeheartedly embraced after more than two decades of dedicated growth in the outdoor sector. As one of China’s most influential brands in the outdoor industry, Skyland has consistently prioritized cutting-edge fashion trends and innovative developments in the cultural and artistic spheres, driving multidirectional cross‑industry integration between outdoor pursuits and fields such as culture, art, and tourism.

Stay true to your passion and help turn your dreams into reality.
Skyler’s sponsorship and support of Jackie Chan’s Film A Project aims, on the one hand, to inspire passion and, together with the initiative, help more young filmmakers grow and thrive; on the other hand, Skyler hopes that an increasing number of young filmmakers will turn their attention to creating outdoor‑themed films and TV series.

It is reported that the Jackie Chan Film A‑Plan places a strong emphasis on genre diversity, aiming to encompass a wide range of themes and styles to meet the market’s growing demand for variety. This time, the A‑Plan organizing committee conducted an in-depth analysis of each project, evaluating its originality and distinctive perspective, with particular attention paid to works that can precisely resonate with audience needs and strike a chord. Through a rigorous selection process—assessing innovation, genre appeal, and market potential—the committee ultimately chose 20 highly creative, commercially promising projects, along with one “Campus Sprout” initiative, from nearly 400 submissions. These were showcased on the mid‑term roadshow stage, highlighting the unique creativity and market potential of emerging young filmmakers.
During this event, participants also heard insights from some of the industry’s leading directors and screenwriters. Under the theme “‘New Manufacturing’ in the Context of the Global Film Market,” the program featured masterclasses by top-tier filmmakers from China and abroad, including Yin Lichuan, Lei Zhilong, Vanridee Pongsittisak, Zheng Zhuli, Manfred Wong, and Rao Xiaozhi. In the industry‑wide roundtable session, moderated by Ms. Sun Rong, founder of Project A, leading creators from both China and overseas took the stage—among them Rao Xiaozhi, a prominent representative of China’s mid‑generation directors; Manfred Wong, producer, screenwriter, director, and vice chairman of the Hong Kong Film Awards Association; renowned director and screenwriter Zhang Luan; Zhang Wenbo, founder of Bole Marketing, film marketer, and producer; South Korean director and screenwriter Zheng Zhuli; and Kim Eun‑jung, former chief representative of the Korean Film Council’s Beijing office and a producer. Through these discussions, participants explored diverse facets of the film industry, exchanged ideas, and sought to address current challenges while identifying potential pathways forward.

The conclusion of the seventh installment of Jackie Chan’s “Project A” marks both a culmination of exploration and innovation, and an experimental endeavor by Skylo to break new ground by fusing the outdoors with culture and the arts. As Mr. Jackie Chan urged young filmmakers in his video to remain passionate, hone their craft, and contribute to the future of great cinema, Skylo will likewise stay true to its passion, strengthen its core capabilities, and leverage high‑quality products to further integrate and advance outdoor culture across China.
