Registration Confirmation: After registering and paying the fee, your registration is confirmed upon receipt of a text message notification from the respective registration platform. Please also proactively add the event’s customer service WeChat account to join the participant group and receive additional event information. If your registration materials do not pass the review, customer service will contact you to request supplementary documentation or notify you of a refund; in the absence of such communication, your registration will be deemed successful by default.

2. Race Route and Station Layout:

Trajectory Chart

Total distance: 21 km; cumulative elevation gain: 1,457 m; cumulative elevation loss: 1,218 m; highest point: 2,669 m; lowest point: 1,830 m. (Subject to the final route book and data released prior to the event.)

The entire route passes through: Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area Center (start) — CP1 Zhongnuo Fish — CP2 Benli Bay — Zhongxia Inn (finish). All checkpoints offer the following services: timing, aid stations, restrooms, and medical assistance. A cut-off time is set between CP1 and the finish line, with a shuttle vehicle available for racers who withdraw. A shuttle bus will run from the finish line to the awards ceremony venue and back to the start.

3. Finisher Rewards: Participants who finish within the designated time will receive a finisher’s medal and a finisher’s jersey.

4. Ranking Awards: The top three male and female finishers will be awarded trophies, certificates, and prize money, with a total prize pool of RMB 12,000.

6. Age requirement: 18–65 years old

7. Qualification Requirements: At the time of registration, applicants must upload certificates verifying completion of a marathon of 20 km or longer, or an off-road/hiking event of 10 km or longer, within the past two years.

8. Health Requirements: If you have a medical examination certificate issued within the past year, please upload it; otherwise, you will be deemed to have self-assessed that you are physically fit to participate in this event. You shall assume full responsibility for any sports-related injuries resulting from your own health conditions. Individuals with any of the following conditions should not register for this competition:
(1) Patients with congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease;

(2) Patients with hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases;

(3) Patients with myocarditis and other heart diseases;

(4) Patients with coronary artery disease and those with severe arrhythmias;

(5) Patients with diabetes who have hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia;

(6) Patients with other conditions that are not suitable for exercise.

9. Safety Requirements: Participants are required to have a thorough understanding of their own physical condition. Prior to registration, please carefully read the “Athlete Safety Information Notice” provided in the registration link. During participation and while traveling to and from the event venue, any personal injury or property damage resulting from individual circumstances shall be the sole responsibility of the participant. Any personal injury or property loss caused by the participant’s own medical condition or by third-party factors shall be borne by the participant or the responsible third party, as applicable.

10. Changes and Cancellations of Quotas

100% refundable before 6:00 PM on November 20.

Before 6:00 PM on November 25, a 50% refund is available.

After November 25, refund requests will no longer be accepted. If you are unable to participate for personal reasons, you may request that your race packet be mailed to you after the event (courier fee payable upon delivery via SF Express).

Refund requests must be submitted via email, and processing will be based on the time the email is marked as “received” in your inbox.

Event Shuttle Bus: To provide athletes using public transportation with direct and convenient access, on December 7, a scheduled shuttle service will be available from Lijiang High-Speed Rail Station to Tiger Leaping Gorge Town, at a fare of 75 yuan per person (based on public‑transport rates). Passengers may board at the high-speed rail station or at designated pick-up points in downtown Lijiang. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. On the return trip, on the afternoon of December 8, the shuttle will run from Tiger Leaping Gorge Town to Lijiang Station, with stops along the way in downtown Lijiang. Prior to the event, shuttle schedules will be arranged according to participants’ transportation needs; please confirm your travel plans and shuttle requirements, and book your shuttle in advance.

To ensure the safety of participants’ lives and property, as well as public safety at the event venue, once the “Event Contingency Mechanism” is triggered, the Organizing Committee will, following deliberation and decision-making, issue a public notice outlining the appropriate measures to be taken and adjust subsequent event‑related arrangements in accordance with the Contingency Mechanism and the Emergency Response Plan.

The rules of this event and the final authority for interpretation rest with the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Skyloong Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Trail Race. Any matters not covered herein will be supplemented as needed.
