Recently, initiated by the renowned entrepreneur and founder of New Oriental, Yu Minhong, “The Yu Ni Tong Xing: Sichuan–Yunnan Transverse Range Journey” has concluded successfully. This 16-day expedition, with Skylo as the official partner, provided Teacher Yu Minhong, along with fellow guests and staff, with outdoor‑ready apparel and gear that combined professionalism, comfort, and style. Throughout the journey, Skylo actively participated in and witnessed Teacher Yu Minhong and his special guests deliver in-depth explorations of the Sichuan–Yunnan region’s landscapes, history, culture, and local characteristics—earning widespread praise from online audiences for the team’s travel attire. On November 9, Skylo’s founder, Zeng Hua, also joined the “Yu Ni Tong Xing” delegation, rekindling her connection with Entrepreneurship Mentor Yu Minhong from “Winning in China” and embarking on this unforgettable outdoor cultural adventure through Sichuan and Yunnan.

On this Sichuan–Yunnan Transverse Range journey, Teacher Yu Minhong and his team convened in Chengdu on November 5. On November 6, they officially set off from Chengdu, driving over 4,000 kilometers and passing through dozens of renowned scenic spots and popular routes. Along the way, the elevation climbed gradually from 2,400 meters to 3,600 meters, then surged further to 4,860 meters, while the climate shifted from crisp autumn hues, babbling streams, and emerald lakes reflecting the sky, to increasingly clear snow-capped peaks and glaciers just a stone’s throw away.

“Along our journey, we have crossed countless towering mountains and mighty rivers. These daunting natural barriers, far from inspiring fear, have instead kindled human curiosity, giving rise to vast migratory routes that once crisscrossed nearly every corner of the land. Ethnic groups such as the Tibetans, Qiang, Yi, and Bai have thrived and toiled amidst these wondrous landscapes, forging cultures uniquely their own. Beneath the Gaoligong Mountains, the Lisu, Nu, and Dulong peoples have not only intermingled but also preserved their distinct identities.” They settled in the river valley, once making their living through farming and hunting, building their homes on the hillsides along both banks—scattered like stars, serene and enchanting in the sunlight. In his travelogue, Teacher Yu Minhong meticulously documented each day’s itinerary and livestreamed the entire journey with his online audience, inviting everyone to experience the breathtaking beauty of the mountains and rivers together.

On the eighth day of the Sichuan–Yunnan Transverse Range journey, the destination was Daocheng Yading. Early in the morning, we set off along the river valley toward Daocheng, winding our way through towering alpine ridges and deep canyons—ascending from just over 2,000 meters to more than 4,000 meters, and finally reaching a peak elevation of 6,000 meters. The founder of the SKL brand, Zeng Hua, had also joined the group of guests traveling alongside Yu Niu the day before. At the foot of the three sacred mountains, by the majestic Mount Xiangmaiyong, Teacher Yu Minhong engaged in an in-depth conversation with Ganzi’s popular online bureau chief Liu Hong, renowned wildlife photographer Xi Zhinong, celebrated product strategist Liang Ning, and SKL’s Zeng Hua, sharing their personal journeys of growth and offering unique perspectives on Tibetan culture.

Si Kailè once visited the scene and reminisced with Teacher Yu Minhong about those days—how, from “Winning in China” to the present, Si Kailè has steadily grown and developed. During the conversation, Teacher Yu Minhong and Sikele’s Zeng Hua even pulled off a strikingly similar look: their military-green cotton-lined windbreakers showcased exceptional windproof and cold‑resistant performance at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. Sikele also specially provided “Le Lv” gear for the on‑site photographers attending this event. A colorful, windproof, thermal softshell jacket, with a custom‑designed “Yu Ni Tong Xing” logo on the sleeve patches, elevating the team’s sense of ceremony and exclusivity.

Teacher Yu Minhong once wrote in the opening of his cultural journey, “Walking with You: My Journey Through Longshang”: When faced with the question of which path to take in life, “Walking with earnestness” is the only answer. Venturing into the Hengduan Mountains has been Teacher Yu Minhong’s long-cherished wish, and he has approached it with exceptional seriousness. Recording his daily itinerary, he uses walking to articulate… “To fail to walk the path between heaven and earth is to fall short of forging a more complete life!”

It is reported that this year “Yu Ni Tong Xing” has journeyed from Tibet to Xinjiang, and now across the Hengduan Mountains. Through live broadcasts, Teacher Yu Minhong has guided an ever-growing audience to repeatedly experience the awe‑inspiring power of China’s majestic landscapes—how they stir the heart and cleanse the soul—sparking in countless people a tangible aspiration to explore the world and measure life itself.

This “Yu You Tong Xing: A Journey Across the Sichuan–Yunnan Hengduan Mountains” set out from Chengdu, winding its way through Songpan, Huanglong, and Jiuzhaigou, crossing the Minshan Range, then on to Ruoergai, where it witnessed the sunrise over the Yellow River. Pushing further west, the route reached Lianbao Yezé—the westernmost tip of Aba—visited the “Huangshan of the Plateau,” traced the grasslands once traversed by the Red Army—the very origins of Hongyuan County—and passed through the lands of the Qiang, Tibetan, and Yi peoples. The Tibetan White Grand Corridor stretches from the Minjiang River, through the Dadu River, the Yalong River, the Jinsha River, the Lancang River, and the Nujiang River, ultimately reaching the Dulong River…

In the concluding summary of the itinerary, Teacher Yu once again emphasized: “Each of us carries within us the blood of every corner of our motherland,汇聚ing the finest essence and embodying openness and inclusiveness.
