The event is scheduled for… August 14–16, 2026 In Haituo Valley, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province Hosted, this edition of the event has been completely revamped, For the first time, 168 km has been added. The 100-Mile Ultra category comprises Haituo 168 km, Heyue 100 km, Wuwei 50 km, Qiushuo 30 km, Chuxin 12 km Registration is now open for all seven categories, including the two-day race. The course spans an elevation range from 674 meters to 1,843 meters, with a maximum cumulative ascent of 7,355 meters, offering extreme difficulty in tribute to every enduring passion for the mountains and wilderness.

Haituo Mountain is one of the core competition zones for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The racecourse winds around the Olympic core area, and as you run, you can look up to catch distant views of the former Olympic ski slopes—offering a cross-season encounter with the winter’s ice and snow, even in summer. In August, the Haituo Mountain trail holds a unique, rustic romance.

Unlike the rocky, treacherous paths and the secluded trails winding through dense forests, the ten-thousand‑mu alpine meadow is this place’s signature landscape. On the sub‑alpine grasslands, wildflowers bloom in profusion; between the birch groves, pine needles carpet the ground like a natural rug, while the mountain breeze sweeps through the trees, bringing refreshing coolness. Daytime temperatures hover between 20°C and 28°C, dropping to 10°C–15°C at night. The vistas stretch endlessly, with gentle stretches alternating seamlessly with steep, precipitous climbs—every step reveals a new, healing tableau of mountain wilderness, ensuring that each arduous journey is rewarded with breathtaking scenery.
